Swirly figured mahogany veneer top with ribbon stripe border and inlays of tulipwood and anigre. leather center section with 22 karat gold hand tooling. Carved frieze on ends and serpentine front with central shell carving. Oval panels with tulipwood and anigre inlays.
Swirly figured mahogany drawer fronts with hand fitted bead mold. Red oak drawer sides and back with oak plywood bottoms reinforced with full length glue blocks.
Foliated solid cast brass hardware. Locking center drawer with conforming pencil tray. Metal drawer slides and case levelers.
